Cheyenne Celebrates the Season with Holiday Magic!

The Cheyenne Symphony invites you to celebrate the season at our highly anticipated annual holiday concert, Holiday Magic, on December 13th at 7:30 p.m. at the Cheyenne Civic Center! We are thrilled to welcome back the All-City Children’s Chorus, Cheyenne Chamber Singers, and En Avant Dance Studio for a festive performance featuring both beloved holiday favorites and fresh interpretations of traditional classics.

CSO will open this year’s concert with Carol of the Bells, by Mykola Leontovych, a lively choral piece based on a Ukrainian folk song. Its infectious rhythms and uplifting melody embody the joy of the holiday season. The overlapping voices create a festive atmosphere, making it a favorite in Christmas performances worldwide.

The CSO audience will delight in the magic sounds of The Polar Express Concert Suite, a delightful medley crafted by Alan Silvestri and skillfully arranged by Jerry Brubaker, that brings the magic of the beloved children’s film to life. Inspired by Chris Van Allsburg’s enchanting book, this suite beautifully encapsulates themes of friendship, courage, and the wondrous spirit of Christmas. As listeners are transported on an unforgettable journey to the North Pole, the music evokes a sense of wonder and nostalgia, inviting audiences of all ages to embrace the holiday magic.
