The American Piano Duo: Del Parkinson & Jeff Shumway — Idaho natives Shumway and Parkinson met at a competition, studied together at Juilliard and then earned doctorates from Indiana University. Now professors at BYU and Boise State, respectively, the American Piano Duo has been thrilling audiences in the U.S, Europe and Mexico since 1984. Yoojin Jang, violin soloist – A powerful young violinist who has been praised for her “fiery virtuosity” and sensitive interpretation. She has been performing with top Korean orchestras such as the KBS Symphony Orchestra and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra since the age of 9. An active international soloist, she has appeared with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Bulgaria National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Sofia Philharmonia Orchestra, Erato Ensemble, Exremadura Orchestra and Kioi Sinfonietta- Tokyo.

Lei Weng, Piano Soloist – Hailed as “a colorist of exemplary control …with powerhouse technique,” his performances have been described as “spirited and full of nuances.” Based in Greeley, Colo., where he is head of the piano department at the University of Northern Colorado, he has appeared with orchestras in Cincinnati, Denver, Seattle, Indiana, Louisiana, Fort Worth and Beijing.
