“The Romantic Road” presents a progression from the Classical-era style of Mozart and Haydn to the Romantic-era of Beethoven. You will hear the grace of Mozart in his Divertimento for strings, then the wit and humor of Haydn in one of Maestro Intriligator’s all-time favorite symphonies, and finally the power and drama of Beethoven’s “Emperor” piano concerto with young phenomenal pianist Keenan Reesor. Each work on this program is beautiful, yet each composer expresses that beauty in different ways.
